We are taking a short break from our camper trailer, driving to Minnesota to visit friends and family, with two National Parks thrown in for fun (click thru for pictures). 1. Theodore Roosevelt National Park, 2. The Voyageurs National Park, and friends on White Earth Lake and family in Minneapolis. (we were hoping to fit in Isle Royale, but there were no seaplane reservations available. we will have to return another time)
Theodore Roosevelt National Park in North Dakota is worthy of a visit… great trails, lots of wild horses, bison, deer etc… beautiful and unique landscape.
White Earth Lake, Minnesota: the Lilies were in bloom, the lake was calm, and an awesome visit with friends.
The Voyageurs National Park in Northern Minnesota, a wonderful NP to visit: Jere is pointing at the Canadian border which we explored via Kayak in the morning. Nice view and lunch at the Lake View Cafe near the Rainy Lake Visitor Center.
