We really enjoy the NPS sites. We get a senior rate (usually $13) and these established sites are in terrific forest areas.
This location was in a wooded area, access to a boat ramp (if warmer) and was inside Yellowstone NP.
This gives us access to water and a vault toilet.
We leveled and detached and went back out to visit half of the yellowstone lower loop along Lake Yellowstone.
