China Beach & Campground: Juan de Fuca Provincial Park, Vancouver Island, BC

Splendid location, secluded yet accessible. This is indeed a highlight of the trip and worth repeating. We stayed 3 nights, beginning Monday, Aug 14.

Upon arrival via the ferry fro Port Angeles, we were off to our adventures on Vancouver Island. With a quick stop for supplies and lunch (sushi) we maneuvered the wavy and narrow roads.

We found our campsite and a tall and thick tree canopy. No Starlink accessible here. This is a primitive site, no hookups but water access and vault toilets. It was a perfect temperature and we had plenty of propane for cooking and were able to grab enough solar to recharge.

First night, 1.2 Km hike down from the campsite to catch the sunset

as the pebbles roll with the retreating wave.
