We had a Sunday night near Crater Lake NP is a pleasant national forest campground across the road from Diamond Lake.
This was a primitive CG, so no hookups but did have access to water and vault toilets. Sunday at many campgrounds is a departure day, save those few who stretch the weekend until Monday. There were 4 other camps set up.
This Umpqua national forest has been thinned but with a good shade canopy and open feel. We would have liked to paddle Diamond Lake with more time.
Corky was able to test the repair of the Starlink cable, which successfully allowed us to checkin with our family.
