We selected this private campground to best access the diverse areas of Redwood NP and state parks. We arrived on Friday, Aug 4 for 2 nights.
It was a uniquely secluded campground along the Klamath River, just inside the Pacific Ocean coastline for sunsets. We had full hookups, to balance the boon-docking on both sides of this location. Unique because it was primarily a tent camp, with a few RV spots. Since this was a weekend, there were many enjoying their campfires in the evening.
By suggestion, we drove further along our road and hiked to catch sunset, which was well worth it.
There was also a WWII radio outpost that was disguised as a farm. Never seen anything like it!
