We are in a beautiful campground outside of Sedona in Oak Creek Canyon. We are next to the river in a gorgeous limestone and sandstone canyon – shades of red and white throughout. As seniors we receive amazing discounts on National Park campgrounds, one of the perks of getting older. The drive from Flagstaff to Sedona should be on your bucket list. (Oak Creek Canyon)
We are testing out the length of time we can live off the grid.. looks like propane for the refrigerator and furnace will last us one to two weeks depending on our demand. The electrical is still a little bit unknown, we have two batteries and a solar panel. The solar panel charged the batteries a third today, so will most likely keep us powered for awhile until there are cloudy days.
